To provide our tone analysis and credit system, we process the following data:

• Text Input: As a custom keyboard, we require access to the text you type. However, your text is only collected and sent to our servers when you explicitly tap the "Analyze Tone" button. We do not keylog or continuously stream your typing data.
• Device Identifiers: We collect your device's unique identifier (Android ID) upon installation. This is used entirely anonymously to track your credit balance and create a temporary account without requiring an email or login.
• Purchase History: If you purchase additional credits, the transaction is securely handled by Google Play Billing. We verify the purchase token on our servers but do not have access to your personal financial information, such as credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the functional operation of the app:

• To process your drafted text using our AI mediation service to suggest non-violent communication reframes.
• To manage your free and purchased credit balances tied to your device.
• To provide and improve our services.

3. Data Storage and Security

We do not store your text input on our servers after the tone analysis is complete. Once the AI generates a reframe suggestion and sends it back to your device, the text data is discarded. The only data stored persistently is your anonymous Device ID and your available credit balance.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services that may process your data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Billing: For securely processing in-app purchases.
• Generative AI Providers: Your text is processed through secure API endpoints to generate the tone analysis. This data is not used to train external models.

Mind Your Tongue is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
